Design Your Own Holiday Cards with Adobe Spark Post

  1. Click the blue plus sign at the top; then click on the green Graphic button
  2. Click the button labeled Start from scratch
  3. Select the Print menu and choose Card for your size
  4. Click Next to continue
  5. Click the Upload button and locate your image on the computer
  6. Click Next[smartslider3 slider=19]

First thing I’ll do is name my Project where it says My Post in the upper left corner. I’ll name it Christmas Card 2018. If your image is in portrait mode, you can leave it the way it is. To adjust it for landscape, here’s how:

  1. Click Resize from the Menu on the right
  2. Scroll to the top and choose Custom
  3. Click Custom and swap the numbers (change it to 2560 x 1920)

Designing the Christmas CardNow let’s add some Christmas flair! I’ll be using some designs I created in Photoshop for this next step. Don’t worry, I’ll share several designs (CHRISTMAS_BORDERS) with you to choose from. * Let’s design!

  1. Click the Plus sign in the upper-right corner and choose Photo
  2. Click Upload and locate the PNG image on my computer to add it
  3. Resize the PNG by clicking anywhere and adjust the size to fit your card
  4. Double-click the text & edit with Merry Christmas or any message you want
  5. Click Done
  6. Click the handles and move them to adjust text
  7. Adjust order of text (if necessary) with the Order slider
  8. Click Shape from the Menu on the right
  9. Scroll until you see the None symbol and click it (if necessary)
  10. Click Color from the Menu on the right
  11. Choose a preferred color
  12. Click Type from the Menu on the right to change it (if necessary)
  13. Choose a desired Font and resize to fit card

[smartslider3 slider=20]OptionalIf you want to add a filter to your photo, simply click the picture and choose any desired filter. Voila, you’re DONE!! Click Download and print from your favorite photo printer or send to any photo development center to print. I definitely recommend ordering one to test print before ordering 100! :-)And that is how easy it is for you and your students to design your own fabulous Christmas cards!
